Since its initial founding by Lin Yin-wei in Spring 2001, Never Trick Art•Theatre(NTAT), starting off with experimental performances back in art school, has won a remarkable reputation for its audacious creativity and delicate portrayal of emotions.However, given the fact that troupe members graduated in the same year, NTAT closed its theatrical drapes to the audience.

In February 2005, the introspected Lin with pockets full of ideas, actively threshing over possibilities with comrades, conceived the notion to make a beautiful dream reborn.A month later, with assistance and suggestions from everywhere,NTAT was legally registered for a government recognized troupe.NTAT was reestablished in the booming era for performing arts, when the artistic mood inevitably confronted the challenge of contradictions and the ambiguous line to keep balance amid output value, quantity and efficiency to ensure its competitiveness.Upholding self-scrutiny and ultimate care, NTAT, in the extraordinary age, will pledge to give full measure to serve the stage of life forever.
